By proceeding with your booking you confirm that: you hold a current valid Australian driver's licence; you are legally permitted, competent and experienced to tow a trailer; your tow vehicle is roadworthy and correctly rated for the trailer and load; and you have read and understood these Safe Towing Guidelines.

• Ensure the coupling is fully engaged and locked.
• Attach safety chains correctly.
• Check trailer lights and electric brakes (where fitted).
• Raise and secure the jockey wheel.
• Check tyre condition and pressures.
• Secure ramps, toolbox and accessories.

• Never exceed the trailer's payload or ATM.
• Distribute weight evenly with appropriate tow ball download.
• Secure all loads with suitable straps.
• No passengers are permitted in the trailer.

• Allow extra braking distance.
• Take corners wider and reduce speed.
• Avoid sudden braking or steering.
• If trailer sway occurs, keep steering straight and ease off the accelerator—do not brake heavily.

Stop after the first 10–20 km and regularly on longer trips to check the coupling, chains, tyres, lights and load restraints.

Return the trailer clean and on time with all supplied equipment. Report any damage or issues immediately.

The hirer is responsible for ensuring the trailer is loaded safely, the tow vehicle is suitable and roadworthy, and the trailer is operated in accordance with all applicable Australian road laws and manufacturer towing recommendations.
